
In May 2008 our founder, Rich Helppie, brought together a team of healthcare industry leaders to share a unique and innovative vision that could change the way healthcare management & information technology consulting services are sourced, managed and delivered. Rich’s vision was to create “The easiest company to do business with and the easiest company to work for” thus ensuring that the model was focused on all constituents required to deliver innovative and high quality solutions to the healthcare industry, while reducing the cost of delivery using technology. This May, Santa Rosa Consulting, LLC (Santa Rosa) celebrates two years in business with significant organic and acquisition growth, contributions to the market and success stories. In celebration, we would like to thank our team and clients and provide a recap of the journey that got us where we are today.
In 2008 we started with a white board and defined a business model that mapped to the company’s vision. This May, just two years later, Santa Rosa employs close to 150 employees and provides services to over 50 active clients. The company is now led by Tom Watford, President & COO, formerly Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of First Consulting Group along with healthcare industry experts overseeing all aspects of the business –Learn More About Our Leadership Team. In addition the company is supported by a impressive Board of Managers including Charles Bracken, Joseph Dionisio, Peter Geier, Satish Tyagi and Larry Ferguson.
Through organic growth and 3 acquisitions, Santa Rosa now provides expertise to Healthcare Providers including Strategic Consulting, Vendor Implementations & Integration, Patient Care Device Integration and Staffing & Recruiting Services - Learn More About Our Services. The company has positioned itself to effectively assist clients during this challenging time of achieving Meaningful Use along with addressing other critical issues healthcare providers are challenged with today. Our philosophy on company culture and unique recruiting engine now offers our clients 1000’s of qualified resources to choose from.

In September of 2009 we began blogging, a way to share challenges and solutions to our clients. In February 2010 we launched Santa Rosa Presentstm, a free educational webinar series featuring “Hot Topic in Patient Care Device Integration” as a means to provide education to our clients, consultants and the healthcare industry in general. For each event we partner with healthcare providers or vendors in the industry to jointly share hot topics in the healthcare industry.
