Santa Rosa Consulting’s MEDITECH team was formed with the goal to assemble consultants with deep MEDITECH experience. By doing so, our customers receive the best possible skill set at the greatest value. Our team is a collection of consultants who specialize on specific MEDITECH modules. As a unit, we have consultants who collectively have deep experience with all MEDITECH modules.

Implementation and Upgrade Services

Santa Rosa Consulting’s MEDITECH team has implemented the MEDITECH product suite(s) for many customers ranging from small rural hospitals to large Integrated Delivery Networks. We have developed implementation plans in conjunction with our customers and MEDITECH and offer our combined experience and oversight for each implementation engagement. Additionally, we offer experience for the latest releases of each MEDITECH platform to assist clients with managing, planning and testing.

Information Technology Planning

In conjunction with our Strategic Planning team, the MEDITECH team assists our clients with developing IT plans (short and long term). By complimenting our Strategic Team leaders with deep expertise from our clinical, financial, administrative and advanced clinical associates, we are able to provide a comprehensive approach to IT planning. Santa Rosa Consulting believes that any IT plan must include not only the technical, business and strategic elements of the plan but it must also must include deep application level thought leadership.

System Optimization

In today’s world, it is imperative to maximize your investment – and it is our belief that to maximize the investment in IT means not simply implementing a new product suite, but making sure that each customer gets the greatest functionality and value from the system. Santa Rosa Consulting routinely assists customers with assessing current IT system capability and then making real, tangible changes that fully maximize the system. We provide a comprehensive analysis of the entire system and make recommendations to our customers to ensure the greatest value realization.

Staff Augmentation

Many of our customers struggle with staff turnover, lack of technical or application expertise or simply having the appropriate resources to implement a key project. Santa Rosa Consulting has resources that can assist with any project where a customer just doesn’t have the access to the right resource(s). In addition we use flexible staffing models that provide our customers with the right resource, at the right time, for the required amount of time.

Training and Curriculum Development

As part of our Consulting Services team experience, we are able to provide Training and Curriculum Development – often as the result of a full implementation, but frequently as our customers add new application functionality to their existing product suite.
